Alejandro “Alex” de Jesus Muñoz, 45, of Fontana, passed away on May 2, 2018 in Fontana. He was born to Albert and Maria Muñoz on October 10, 1972 in Los Angeles.
Alex was a brave man with a high regard for human life and helping others. In 2004, he deservingly received the Carnegie Hero Fund Award for saving the life of a woman in danger. He was a hard worker and provided for his family by working for the Union Pacific Rail Road for over 10 years.
Alex adored his children and enjoyed playing and watching sports with them. Watching WWE was a favorite pastime for Alex. Riding quads spoke to his more adventurous side. Alex loved a good afternoon mini-trucking. He was an avid sports fan. Alex’s teams were the Lakers, the 49ers and the Dodgers.
Alex is survived by his 4 children Marada R. Muñoz-Young, Izaiah A. Muñoz, Moses A. Muñoz and Alejandro D. Muñoz Jr. He is also survived by his mother Maria Muñoz; Siblings; Albert Muñoz, Joni Muñoz and Christina Muñoz , 7 neices and nephews, his fiancé Pauline Copas and Rebecca Muñoz mother of his children. He is preceded in death by his dad Albert Muñoz.
