Barbara (Bim) Camhoe Werkheiser (Ching), 90 years old, of Oceanside, CA, passed away on August 24, 2023 in Oceanside. She was born to Esther Leong and Charles Ching on January 29, 1933 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Barbara received her BA from University of Hawaii and her Master’s degree from UCLA. She was a master teacher in Santa Monica, CA.
Barbara met and married Wayne Werkheiser. They shared 26 happy years together.
Barbara was an avid UCLA sports fan. She had a heart for animals and found companionship in dogs and birds. Most importantly, Barbara was a Christian.
Barbara is survived by her siblings Doris (Winnie), Patricia and Cordell (Cody). She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne and siblings Marian, Bernice and Roy.
