Colleen (Dumones) Rinehart

October 13, 1951 — December 10, 2016

Colleen (Dumones) Rinehart, the third daughter of the late Herman
Frank and Victoria Dumones was born in Los Angeles, CA on October 13,
1951. God called her home on December 10, 2016.
She attended and graduated from Centennial High School in the City of
Compton, CA and continued on to receive her license in Cosmetology.
Although she never practiced hair full time, she loved doing hair as a
hobby for her close friends and family. She also enjoyed putting puzzles
together, online games and of course the casinos.
In her career Colleen worked with dedication and pride at Oscar
Meyers, Carte Blanch and later retiring from Boeing Corporation. Her
diligent service earned her many commendations and awards. Colleen
later moved to Gulf Port, Mississippi in 2007 where she then went on to
serve in the hospitality industry for the Sheraton and Hilton Garden Inn
Hotels earning awards for Achievements and Excellence of service.
Early in life her first daughter, Sherena Page was born. In 1969 Colleen
married Freddie Garrett and from that union her second daughter,
Natasha Moore was born. In 1993 she married John Rinehart, moved to
San Fernando Valley, CA and later they moved to Gulf Port, Mississippi
where they retired and remained married until her passing.
In early 2014 Colleen developed Leukemia and moved back to California
for medical treatment. She overcame her battle after receiving a Bone
Marrow Transplant from her sister Sharon Dumones and with the help
and support of all her siblings she became cancer free.
Colleen leaves to cherish her memories, her HUSBAND John Rinehart,
her DAUGHTERS Sherena Page and Natasha Moore, her SON IN LAW
David Moore, DAUGHTER IN LAW Iva Smith and a SISTER IN LAW Nikki
Dumones, her SIBLINGS, Alceda Coleman (whom has preceded her in
death) Janet Dumones, Sharon Dumones, Wali Muhammad and Victor
Dumones, her two GRANDCHILDREN Keith Wells Jr. and Davonna
Moore, a host of extended family living in Louisiana, as well as a
multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.
