Dolores Marie Bielinski Bittner Daros, age 95, passed away on Monday, March 4th, 2019.
She was born on September 29, 1923 to the late John and Clara (Watzka) Bielinski of Denmark, Wisconsin.
Dolores graduated from Denmark High School in 1939 and teaching school in 1940. She taught in the vicinity of Denmark and Green Leaf, Wisconsin. During this time, she married Merlin G Bittner and the two had a daughter, Lee Ann Bittner Akers. She married Henry Daros in 1971; he preceded her in death in February 1987.
In the early 50’s, she moved to Fontana, CA where Dolores first worked in the family soda fountain on Sierra Ave prior to becoming a chef at Kaiser Steel Mill of Fontana for over thirty years. She retired from the mill and became an avid ‘road trippin’ traveler of the United States. She spent most of her retirement days reading, challenging her mind with crossword puzzles and watching either the Travel Channel or Food Network. Dolores loved her visits from her great and great-great grandchildren which always brought a smile to her face.
She is survived by her daughter Lee Ann Bittner Akers, grandchildren; Debra (Bill) Bennett, James (Bridget) Akers, Kelley (Sean) Keele, great grandchildren; Jennifer (Matt) Reese, Bryan Bennett, Jonathan (Andrea) Burgos, Jason Akers, Kaitlyn Keele, Kelsey Keele, Patrick Akers, Emily Akers and great-great grandchildren Andrew Burgos, Mackenzee Akers and Braden Reese. She is also survived by her brother Lonnie (Marketta) Bielinski, god children and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her husband Henry, ex-husband Merlin Bittner and her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses Bob and Viola Bielinski, Leo and Betty Malewiski, Williard and Josephine Bielinski and nephews John Bielinski and great-nephew Jim Malewiski.
Family and friends may gather at Ingold Chapel, Fontana CA, on Friday, March 8th, 2019 at 10:00 AM to celebrate her life. Immediately following there will be a repass at 17130 Marygold Ave. Fontana, CA.
