Donald Joye, 78, of Lytle Creek, passed away on June 1, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born to Hector and Leona Joye on December 28, 1939 in Fontana, CA.
Donald attended and graduated from Newman High School and later went on to Chaffey College. He met and married the love of his life Mary Ann in 1958 and they were blessed with, and recently celebrated, 60 years of marriage.
Donald was a good provider to his family. He worked as an Electrical Supervisor for Kaiser Steel and CSI California Steel.
Donald enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish and go camping. Donald belonged to the Smile-a-Milers Camping Club. He also loved sports and was an avid California Angels fan. Most of all, Donald was a man of faith. He was a parishioner of St. John the 23rd Catholic Church.

Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann Joye; daughter Julie Logan of Highland and son Michael Joye of Redlands. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Alyssa Logan, Ashley Logan, Trevor Joye, Kaley Joye and Rylan Joye. He is also survived by his sister Doris Thorson of Wyoming.
