Donald Raymond Leonard Jr. was born on 7/19/1938 in San Diego, California to Donald Raymond Leonard Sr. and Wilma Fern Wilder and died on March 27, 2021 in Fontana California. He served in the Navy and became an Electronics Engineer. He married Sally J. Loper and had four extremely beautiful daughters, Debbi, Brenda, Becky and Danielle along with a special, handsome son, Donald Raymond Leonard III. Don had 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Don worked at the China Lake Naval Weapons Center in Ridgecrest California and then moved to Orange County, California where he worked at McDonnell Douglas and Hughes Aircraft Company.
The second sweet woman in his life was Peggy Meade, together for 44 years where he inherited an additional four extremely attractive step-daughters; Sue, Karen, Kelly and Jamie and an additional 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Don was a man who studied everything he could know to a T and was never going to be caught off guard. A true survivalist. He focused on new projects and hobbies all the time. He drove people crazy with his current ideas and inventions. He was completely involved in current politics. He loved the outside forest areas, camping and could shoot a gun with expertise! He loved great jokes. He will be greatly missed by all those that survive him.
