Esther Aquino

Esther “Neen” Aquino, 78, of Apple Valley, passed away on August 10, 2024 in Apple Valley, CA. 

She was born to Esperanza Aguirre and Eulogio Aquino on March 15, 1946 in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Although Esther never had any children, she was officially godmother to nine and unofficially to many more. Her siblings were Petra Tuttle, Virginia Aquino, Joseph Garcia, Benny Aquino, Rose Villalba, Larry Aquino, Antonio Aquino, and Barbara Daste Aquino.

Esther attended and graduated from Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights. She worked in data entry most of her adult life.

Among her many enjoyments in life, Esther loved to knit and crochet. She often gifted her friends and family with her creations. Esther understood how precious time was and spent it wisely making memories. She loved spending time with family, nieces, nephews and godchildren, bringing smiles to all. 

Esther is survived by her siblings Petra, Virginia, Joseph, Benny, Larry, Antonio, and Barbara. She’s also survived by her beloved nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family and many friends.

Esther is preceded in death by her friend and partner, Al Ramirez in 2014; her parents Esperanza and Eulogio and her sister Rose in 2015. 

Esther’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
