Evangeline “Eva” San Miguel, 68 years old, of Fontana, California, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2018 in Fontana. She was born to Manuel and Mary Gutierrez on May 5, 1950 in Artesia, California.
Eva met and married the love of her life Leonard San Miguel and shared 52 blessed years of marriage.
Eva enjoyed her work and was a Certified Beauty Advisor. She had many talents; among them was painting. Eva was awarded 1st place in the Long Beach National Art and Painting contest.
Eva was a beautiful painter and expressed herself in her ceramic paintings. In her quiet time, Eva appreciated the beauty of nature and the peacefulness of gardening. She celebrated any occasion on the dance floor and shared her lively spirit with everyone around her. Seeing different places and traveling was something Eva delighted in. Eva doted over her dog Hazard and enjoyed hanging out with him. Eva was never too busy to enjoy moments with her family. She adored her loved ones and relished their time together.
Eva is lovingly survived by her children Marlene Vasquez-San Miguel, Christine Anderson, Lorraine San Miguel, Leonard Joseph San Miguel, and David San Miguel. She is also survived by 11 grandkids and 9 great-grandkids. Eva is preceded in death by her parents Manuel M. and Mary R. Gutierrez, brother Manny Gutierrez, brother Ralph Gardea and husband Leonard San Miguel.
