Jesus - Caballero Salto

Jesus Caballero Salto, 61, of Fontana, passed away on March 12, 2025 at Arrowhead Medical Center in Colton. He was born to Placida Salto Cortes and Ignacio Caballero Guillen on August 23, 1963 in Pajacuaran, Michoacan, Mexico. His siblings were Angelita, Ignacio, Lucia, Rafael, Martin, Ana, Trinidad, Socorro, and Simon Caballero.

Jesus was a good provider to his family and worked for Mission Foods for 20 years. As a devoted Catholic, faith was important to Jesus. He loved to dance and was a big music lover of various genres. Jesus enjoyed watching soccer games and was a fan of Team Mexico. Good comedy shows activated his contagious laughter. If you were his friend, chances are Jesus gave you a funny nickname. One thing's for sure, Jesus never judged anyone and welcomed everyone as a friend. He liked a slow pace walk through the swap meet when there was an opportunity to do so. Jesus was also a proud cat and dog dad.

Jesus loved his wife Lourdes Caballero and was widowed after 20 years of marriage. He had a second chance at love when he met and married Clara Caballero and together, they enjoyed 5 years of marriage.

Jesus asked his friends to look after his family and they knew he would have done the same for them.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Clara Caballero; his children Melissa Caballero, Vanessa Caballero; step-children Deysy and Edward Caballero and his cat “Neil”.
