Jose Pena

Jose C. Peña, of Rialto, passed away at the age of 76 on March 25, 1940. He entered into life February 1, 1940 in Durango, MX. to Parents Jose and Guillerma Peña. Jose married Maria R. Herrera in 1963. They had 6 children Guillermina, Lupe, Ana, Jose Jr., Elvira and Pablo. Jose found much joy in his involvement in various activities such as Camping, Cooking, Singing, Acting, and Family Time. He was Eucharistic Minister and Teacher of Catechism Classes in the Catholic Church. He was also a Theatrical Actor (Armino en El Fango) and was recognized as #1 Carpet Installer and was a member of the Crucillos.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Maria R. Peña of 53 years, Children; Lupe, Ana, Joe, Elvira and Pablo, 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.Jose is preceded in death by His Daughter Guillermina and Grandson Emmanuel Isaiah who both passed away in 2011.
A visitation will take place at ingold Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11:00 in St Mary’s Catholic Church in Fontana. His interment will follow directly after mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pomona.
