Judy Ann Norton Lugo, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this life on February 8, 2025, in Loma Linda, California. Born on October 10, 1952, in Norwalk, California, she dedicated her life to truly embodying the values of love, discipline, and faith.
Judy was a devoted homemaker for 52 years, tirelessly caring for her family while instilling a love for the Lord in each of her ten children. She went to Lynwood High School and carried the lessons learned throughout her life, often reflecting on her upbringing and sharing that insight with her loved ones.
A God-fearing woman, Judy made it her mission to serve not only her immediate family but also those she encountered along her journey. With an unwavering faith, her happiest moments were found in the simple tasks of life—humming along to her favorite music as she cleaned her home, delighting in crossword puzzles, and enjoying peaceful walks with her grandchildren. Her warmth radiated through her heart and actions, as she showed agape love to everyone she met, mirroring the love that her Lord bestowed upon her.
Her legacy of dedication and care lives on through her surviving children: Edward Rosales, Francisco Anthony Rosales Lugo, Lorie Lugo, Marylu Lugo, Isabell Lugo, Raymond Lugo Jr, Randy Lugo, and Matthew Lugo, as well as her cherished 25 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who will carry her spirit forward. Judy's sister, Sharon Norton, remains a vital thread in the fabric of their family, sharing in the memories and love they all cherish.
Though she faced profound loss throughout her life, including the passing of her husband Raymond Sammy Lugo in January 2007, her son Rudy Lugo in April 2023, her daughter Juanita Estelene Norton in April 2023, and her parents Parnell and Freida, and brother Hobert, Judy remained steadfast in her obedience to God. Her proudest achievement was raising her children to serve the Lord, fulfilling every assignment He placed on her heart with consistency and grace.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Judy's life during a viewing on February 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 8277 Juniper Ave, Fontana, CA. As we gather to honor Judy, we remember a woman whose influence stretched far beyond her immediate family—a force of love and faith who will be greatly missed and forever cherished.
