Louis Brewster Jr.

Louis Brewster Jr., 70, who lived in Fontana for many years, died on Monday, Nov. 25 near his home in Victorville due to complications from diabetes.
Brewster was born June 12, 1949 in Texas. He later moved to Fontana and graduated from Fontana High School in 1967. He wrote sports for the Fontana Herald News and later became the sports editor of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and San Bernardino Sun.
Brewster is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda; his son Scott; his grandson Louis Bryan; his mother Sara; his brothers Bob, Rick and Dave Brewster; and sisters Liz Allen and Ruth Herr. He was preceded in death by his son Bryan.
A public viewing will be held from 4-8 p.m. with welcome and open forum for reflections beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Ingold Funeral and Cremation in Fontana.
