Maria Romero

Maria "Ruth" Rodriguez Romero passed away peacefully, at 12:15 P.M., at her home in Fontana, California at the age of 93. Born in El Paso, Texas, on November 16, 1925 to Raquel Telles-Rodriguez.
She was married for 73 years to Juan Romero, Sr. They had six children together: Sylvia Romero, Frank Romero, Juan Romero Jr., Corine Choate, Patrick Romero, and Ruthie Hill. She has 15 grandchildren, more than 23 great-grandchildren, and 33 great-great-grandchildren and counting upon her passing.
Ruth was a liberated woman, who over her lifetime had many careers but her number one interest was the people around her. No matter who you are or where you were from by the end of your time with her, she knew your entire story and would leave one feeling as though they had known her for a lifetime. Those who knew her all felt incredibly blessed. She leaves a legacy of love.
A reception is to be held at Bonnie's home immediately following the graveside service.
