Raymond Lopez

Raymond Lopez JR, 76 years old, of Fontana, CA, passed away on July 30, 2021 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was born to Virginia and Raymundo Lopez on October 6, 1944 in Mexicali, Mexico. He was one of thirteen children with his siblings being Virginia Esquivias, Carmen Bustillos, Altagracia Tackett, Elena Espinoza, Maggie Tovias, Jose Luis Lopez, Dolores Campos, Angelina De La Cruz, Mary Lou Stevens, Lazaro Lopez, Isabel Lopez and Francisco Lopez.
Raymond attended and graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. Shortly after graduation, Raymond was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Vietnam conflict from August 1965 – June 1967.
Raymond met and married the love of his life, Maria Flores Lopez and together they shared 45 years of happiness. Their union was blessed with four children: Ermelinda Ayala, Raymond Lopez, Virginia Lopez, and Francisco Lopez.
Raymond was a good provider to his wife and children. He worked for Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc in Riverside, CA for 32 years and retired in 2008.
Some of Raymond’s favorite memories were spent with family and friends barbecuing, taking long road trips, working on classic cars, attending car shows and enjoying Nascar.
Raymond is lovingly survived by his wife Maria Lopez; children Ermelinda Ayala, Raymond Lopez, Virginia Lopez, and Francisco Lopez; six grandchildren, whom he loved dearly; and siblings Carmen Bustillos, Altagracia Tackett, Elena Espinoza, Maggie Tovias, Jose Luis Lopez, Dolores Campos, and Mary Lou Stevens.
Services will be as follows:
A visitation will be 4-8pm, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Ingold Funeral & Cremation in Fontana, with rosary beginning at 6:30pm. A mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at St. George's Catholic Church in Fontana. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario, CA
