Ronnie Martinez

June 22, 1967 — June 16, 2020

Ronnie Martinez was born on the 22nd of June 1967 to Ethel Martinez, who resided in Los Angeles, CA. He attended Abraham Lincoln High School, where he played football and was voted Prom King. As a teenager, Ronnie was chosen to run with the Olympic torch for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, CA.
Ronnie’s proudest accomplishments were being a father to three girls (Amanda Marie Lopez-Bailey, Veronica Nicole Gomez, and Samantha Ariana Martinez), and a grandfather to six grandkids (Carlos, Wehi, Chloe, Adalina, Zoe & Dominic). He was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle.
Ronnie was a joy to be around and a jokester who loved to make people laugh. He had a big heart and never hesitated to help a loved one in need. His hobbies included recreational shooting and golf, and he enjoyed barbequing on weekends, spending time with family, road trips, and watching the Raiders play football. For several years he worked as a machine operator for printing companies.
Ronnie passed away at 2:01 pm on June 16, 2020, in Fontana, CA, just six days shy of his 53rd birthday. He is survived by his mother, Ethel, his siblings, Audrey, Melanie, and Sandra, and his children, Amanda, Veronica, and Samantha.
