His hobbies included playing dominoes, tending to his roses, spending his mornings listening to his favorite songs, going out for an ice cream cone with his grandchildren, watching baseball games, and having his weekly breakfast at Denny’s with his son-in-law, Raul. Samuel was always willing to lend a helping hand with any tasks at hand and he took great pride in being able to say that he was the one that taught his grandchildren how to drive.
