Victoria Aquino Martinez Wilson, born on October 4, 1954, in Manila, Philippines, passed away peacefully on November 21 2024, in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Her journey through life was marked by resilience, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.
Victoria spent over nine years working as a fry cook at Seafood City, where she became known for her delightful personality, often brightening the days of her colleagues with her humor and warmth. She had a unique ability to bring joy to the workplace, always ready with a joke or a cheerful word that would leave a lasting impression on everyone around her.
Her passion for cooking extended well beyond her professional life. Victoria found immense joy in preparing meals for her family, sharing her love for food while creating cherished memories. She was also an avid dancer and relished traveling with her family, forging bonds that would last a lifetime.
Victoria graduated high school in the Philippines, a milestone that she always held dear. Throughout her life, she embraced her cultural heritage, infusing it into her cooking and celebrations with family.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her sons Francis, Wilbert, and Lovely Martinez, who will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. Victoria was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, each of whom filled her heart with immeasurable joy. Her siblings, Alicia, Victorino, Teresa, and Florante, cherished their sister deeply, holding onto the shared memories they created together over the years.
Victoria is now reunited in spirit with her beloved husband, Sergio Martinez, and her parents, Paulina Rivera Aquino and Alfredo Sarmiento Aquino. She is survived by her family and friends who will forever remember the light she brought into their lives.
A service to celebrate Victoria's life will be held at 8277 Juniper Ave, Fontana, California, on December 8, 2024. Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A Mass in her honor will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga on December 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
Victoria will be profoundly missed but never forgotten, as her spirit continues to inspire love, laughter, and vibrant memories in the hearts of all who knew her.
