Virginia Gage

Virginia “Ruth” Gage 92 of Fontana, passed away October 18, 2016 in Colton, California.  Ruth was born October 30, 1923 in Lakeview, Texas. Her parents were Robert A. and Thelma (Bownds) Parks.  She attended schools in Phillips, Texas graduating from Phillips High School.  She was a Credit Manager for J.C. Penney Company in Fontana, Ca . She retired after 25 years of dedicated employment. Ruth was a Member of Fontana First Baptist Church, and most currently attended Cross pointe Community Church.
Ruth leaves behind to cherish her memory two Daughters, Patricia Gage-Plata and Melissa Perez, 5 Granddaughters and 6 Great Grandsons.  She is preceded in death by her Father; Robert Parks(1983)  Mother; Thelma Parks (2001) , Brother; John Harold Parks and her husband of 60 years Woodrow Wilson Gage whom passed away in 2003.
Services for Ruth were entrusted to Ingold Funeral Chapel. A viewing took place on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 4pm – 8pm. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 am followed by Interment at Rialto Park Cemetery.
